This policy explains how GATOKARAKURA TRANSFER ("we") handles information when you use our website and Android app at gatokarakuratransfer.com.
What we are
We provide exchange-rate information, a calculator and customer support for regional currency exchange (Uganda, Burundi, Kenya, Tanzania, DR Congo). This website and app do not collect, hold or process payments. Any transfer is arranged and confirmed with our team on WhatsApp.
Information we collect
- Account information – if you create an account: full name, phone number, email address and password. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider (Supabase) and are not visible to us.
- Assistant messages – questions you type to "Gatokarakura assistant" are sent to our server and to an AI provider (Anthropic) only to produce a reply. Please do not type passwords or card numbers into the assistant.
- Technical data – basic technical information (such as device type and IP address) is processed by our hosting providers (Cloudflare, Supabase) to deliver the service and keep it secure.
How we use it
To show your profile, answer your questions, provide support and keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
Sharing
Only with the service providers needed to run the site (Cloudflare for hosting, Supabase for accounts and data, Anthropic for the assistant), or if required by law.
When you tap a WhatsApp button, WhatsApp opens and your conversation with us is governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
Your choices
You can view and edit your profile in the app. To delete your account and data, contact us through the WhatsApp button on our website and we will remove it.
Children
The service is not intended for children under 18.
